The Centre for information technology management has been a trusted and reliable institution from 1996 with sound facilities and knowledge human resources, the institution has grown beyond the expectation of the management. Offering the IT programs, from Certificate level 1, CITM started with great hope and endurance to grow our service to the customers.
Centre for Information Technology Management was founded in 1996 in Male and our services expended to atolls/islands in the year 2008. The country being formed as small islands separated with sea, transportation come to the main issues and people have to settle in Male for every purpose including higher education.
Thus the government’s statistics shows that there are thousands of school levers with O’ level and A ‘level and stops the education as the family could not afford to spend on his/her in Male. With this reason, CITM management decided to take our service to the islands and citizens.
Reaching the growth stage in the life cycle of CITM, we have 20+ campuses throughout the country including HA atoll R atoll and N atoll. We are proud to say that we have got significant figures in MQA(Maldives qualification Authority) records as more than 9000 students are being certified from CITM with certificate level 1,2,3,4 and Diploma. Moreover we were the first institution which offered and successfully completed diploma program in the islands.
