Dhammaanu Boduberu

Dhammaanu Cultural group was born on 2nd December 2009 with Hassan Shabeen's hard work and with his ten other friends.

At very beginning, group performed on b'day parties and some friend houses only. Today the group has grown up and gets many gigs to play in different occasions like Wedding parties, resort music, Political party gatherings, Circumcision, Eid festival shows, different other circumstances etc. and especially can highlight the 'Wataniya promotion shows'. The biggest shows that we had performed till were the Museum Opening show, Mi Raajje show, Beach games 2010 and Miss France welcome show.

In 2010, 2011 & 2012 the group had participated MNBC Boduberu Challenge and got second place in 2010. Other achievements are:

- Runner up in boduberu challenge 2010
- Best boduberu dancer in boduberu challenge 2010
- Best group vocal in boduberu challenge 2010
- Outstanding performances by an individual ALI AZIM (11 years old) of dhammaanu.
- Best Boduberu drummer in Boduberu challenge 2012 ALI AZIM (13 years) of dhammaanu.

The group encourages and feel most welcome to youth who would likes cultural activities especially Boduberu. Our dream is to bring back our traditional Boduberu plus introduce modern Boduberu.
