GX Associates

GX Associates is one of the major architectural firms in the Maldives, based in the capital, Male'. The practice is of multi-nature with architecture, interior design, civil and structural engineering combined under one roof. The company excels in the field of hospitality and leisure architecture with international brand names to their credit. Also the company acts as an independent architectural consultant to major national and international companies operating in the Maldives.

The practice was established in 1993 under the name of Group X Graphics and Design Associates which had its bulk of architectural work entailing the designing of local residential buildings and commercial structures. Currently the company specializes in tropical architecture and serves international as well as local clients with projects within and outside Maldives.

The practice produces an entity that is pleasing to the client as well as to the company and achieves the desired effect while keeping the project within the cost. The company has produced designs and reports for resort developments which have successfully procured bids from the government. Other design projects of resorts have resulted in some of the most pleasing and luxurious resort facilities in the country.
